Short Stories from other Believers
For those who Love Jesus
_
Let’s discuss the Name of our blessed Messiah. Let’s begin by reading Acts 7:45 in the King James version:
“Which also our fathers that came after brought in with Jesus into the possession of the Gentiles, whom God drave out before the face of our fathers, unto the days of David;”
Now, let’s look at the exact same scripture in the New King James version:
“which our fathers, having received it in turn, also brought with Joshua into the land possessed by the Gentiles, whom God drove out before the face of our fathers until the days of David,”
Why does one version say “Jesus” and the other “Joshua”? Let’s see another verse. Here is Hebrews 4:8 in the KJV:
“For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.”
Now, the same verse in the NKJV:
“For if Joshua had given them rest, then He would not afterward have spoken of another day.”
Why is this? In Strong’s Concordance entry G2424, we see that the name “Jesus” comes from the Greek name “Iesous”, pronounced (ee-ay-sooce’) The concordance also states that this name is originally from the Hebrew name “Jehoshua” H3091. This is also Joshua’s true name according to the Strong’s Concordance. Note: The letter “J”, which is only a few hundred years old, was originally pronounced like a “Y”, so the actual pronunciation of “Jesus” is (ee-ay-sooce’).
Let’s look closely at the name “Jehoshua” in H3091. The Strong’s Concordance states that it means “Jehovah saved”.
IMPORTANT: WE NOW MUST CLOSELY LOOK AT THE NAMES OF BOTH THE FATHER AND THE SON…
Let’s start with Jehovah, or the LORD. We will find this in Strong’s Concordance entry H3068. The so-called tetragrammaton is YHWH, sometimes pronounced Yahweh. We already discussed the “J”. So could Jehovah actually be Yehovah?
Let’s keep digging deeper. Look in the NJKV at Psalms 68:4, Isaiah 12:2, Isaiah 26:4, and Isaiah 38:11. Notice the Name “Yah”? This is the shortened version of the Name of the Most High.
So could His Name be Yahovah? “Yah” literally means “I am” and “hovah” means “ruin” (see H1943). To say that His Name means “I am ruin” is blasphemous!
The same Hebrew letters that spell “hovah” also spell “hwah” which means “exists” or “gives life”. “I am He Who exists” or “I am He Who gives life” both make the Name “YaHuWaH” (yah-hoo’-ah). That is the actual Name of the Creator of Heaven and Earth.
See also how you can take the dalet (D) out of the word Yahudah (Judah) and have the so-called tetragrammaton. The word Yahudah would become Yahuah, or YaHuWaH.
Now, let’s go back to the Name of our Messiah. “Jehoshua” meaning “Jehovah saved” should be “Yahushua” meaning “Yahuwah saved” or also “I am He who saves”. Yahushua is the true Name of our Messiah, as well as the successor of Moses.
When we see “Jeho” in a Hebrew name, it most likely should be “Yahu”. See names like Elijah (Eliyahu), Isaiah (Yeshayahu), Jeremiah (Yirmeyahu), Obadiah (Obadyahu), Zechariah (Zecharyahu), and over 100 other Hebrew names.
Where did “Jesus” or “Iesous” come from? It first appeared in Greek. It can also be spelled “Iasus” which is the name of four Greek mythological deities. The pagan Greeks simply tacked on that pagan name to our Messiah Yahushua, blotting out the Name of the Father.
Read Acts 4:1-21, and you will see why the Names would be blotted out by the systematized religious organizational leaders. Pay close attention to Acts 4:12:
“Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”
This may help you understand why we see names like Jesus, Yeshua, Yahawashi, and so on. The Name of our Savior is Yahushua. The Name of our Heavenly Father is Yahuwah.
As members of the body of Messiah, we ALL have the responsibility of edifying one another in love. Please pass this info on to everyone you know who TRULY loves our Messiah. You’ll be amazed at who will try to stop you from proclaiming the true Names. But be not afraid to ask our Heavenly Father for wisdom in the Name of Yahushua, and He will give it to you. Peace and blessings to all my brothers and sisters, and may the Heavenly Spirit be with you to guide you in all Truth.

My Heavenly Fathers Name is: YaHuWaH
__
It is written in the ancient Hebrew script. With His finger, He wrote His Name on two tablets of stone. In modern Hebrew, His Name is rendered This is the Tetragrammaton, a four-letter word for His Name. The letters are yad, hay, waw, hay and are written from right to left. The English transliteration is YHWH. His Name is pronounced "yah-uw-ah". The shortened form of His Name is YAH. His Name is Most Set-Apart. I love my Heavenly Father.
My Heavenly Father has many titles. He is the Creator of the Universe. He is The Almighty, the Eternal One, Abba, El and Elohim to name a few. I call Him "YAHUAH" which means "I AM HE (who) Exists".
His only brought-forth Son is known as the Prince of Peace, King of Kings, the Messiah, the Lamb of Elohim, Saviour, and Master. In modern Hebrew, His Name is rendered I call Him "YAHUSHUA" which is pronounced "yah-uw-shuw-ah". His Name means "I AM HE (who) Saves/Delivers".
My Heavenly Father is also called by false names including The LORD, God, and Yahweh. His Son is called by the false names Jesus, Christ and Lord. These words are of pagan origin and have been incorrectly used for centuries. It is Satan who has deceived the whole world:
Revelation 12:9 And the great dragon was thrown out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who leads all the world astray. He was thrown to the earth, and his messengers were thrown out with him.
Revelation 13:14 And he leads astray those dwelling on the earth because of those signs which he was given to do before the beast, saying to those dwelling on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword, yet lived.
Yahucanan (John) 8:44 ...He was a murderer from the beginning, and has not stood in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks the lie, he speaks of his own, for he is a liar and the father of it.
If YAHUAH did not choose us to be saved – in set-apartness of Spirit, and belief in the truth, then:
2 Thessalonians 2:11-12 ...Elohim sends them a working of delusion, for them to believe the falsehood, (12) in order that all should be judged who did not believe the truth, but have delighted in the unrighteousness.
YAHUAH does not share his esteem with mighty ones or idols made by man:
Debarim (Deuteronomy) 6:13-15 Fear YAHUAH your Elohim and serve Him, and swear by His Name. (14) Do not go after other mighty ones, the mighty ones of the peoples who are all around you, (15) for YAHUAH your Elohim is a jealous El in your midst, lest the displeasure of YAHUAH your Elohim burn against you, then He shall destroy you from the face of the earth.
Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 42:8 I am YAHUAH, that is My Name, and My esteem I do not give to another, nor My praise to idols.
Acts 17:30-31 Truly, then, having overlooked these times of ignorance, Elohim now commands all men everywhere to repent, because He has set a day on which He is going to judge the world in righteousness by a Man whom He has appointed, having given proof of this to all by raising Him from the dead.
A personal name is the same throughout the world. It cannot be changed or translated. If for example, an Italian man named Giussepe Verde travels to the United States, his passport reads "Giussepe Verde". When he introduces himself to Americans, he says "I am Giussepe Verde". The Americans can't call him "Joe Green" unless he changes his name. Names can be transliterated from one alphabet to another alphabet, but the pronunciation remains the same or very similar.
Titles are not personal names and can be translated into other languages. For example, in Italian, mister is translated signore and teacher is insegnanti.
In the Scriptures, the word "name" is found more than 1000 times. In Hebrew, name is the word "shem" and pronounced "sham". It is translated as name, renown, famous, named, and report. In Greek, name is the word "onoma" and pronounced "o'-no-mä".
The Scriptures have much to say about the importance of the knowledge of His Name:
Shemoth (Exodus) 3:15 And Elohim said further to Moshah, "Thus you are to say to the children of Yisra’el, YAHUAH Elohim of your fathers, the Elohim of Ab_raham, the Elohim of Yitsh?aq, and the Elohim of Ya?aqob_, has sent me to you. This is My Name forever, and this is My remembrance to all generations."
Mishle (Proverbs) 30:4 Who has gone up to the heavens and come down? Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has bound the waters in a garment? Who established all the ends of the earth? What is His Name, And what is His Son’s Name, If you know it?
Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) 16:21 “Therefore see, I am causing them to know, this time I cause them to know My hand and My might. And they shall know that My Name is YAHUAH!”
Mal'aki (Malachi) 1:11 “For from the rising of the sun, even to its going down, My Name is great among nations. And in every place incense is presented to My Name, and a clean offering. For My Name is great among nations,” said YAHUAH of hosts.
We are commanded to declare His Name to the world:
Debarim (Deuteronomy) 32:3 For I proclaim the Name of YAHUAH, Ascribe greatness to our Elohim.
Tehillim (Psalms) 22:22 I make known Your Name to My brothers; In the midst of the assembly I praise You.
Tehillim (Psalms) 102:21 To declare the Name of YAHUAH in Tsiyon, And His praise in Yahrushalayim,
We are commanded to not profane His Name or bring it to no value:
Shemoth (Exodus) 20:7 You do not bring the Name of YAHUAH your Elohim to naught, for YAHUAH does not leave the one unpunished who brings His Name to naught.
Wayyiqra (Leviticus) 22:32 And do not profane My set-apart Name, and I shall be set-apart among the children of Yisrael. I am YAHUAH, who sets you apart,
Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) 23:26-27 Till when shall it be in the heart of the prophets? – the prophets of falsehood and prophets of the deceit of their own heart, (27) who try to make My people forget My Name by their dreams which everyone relates to his neighbour, as their fathers forgot My Name for Ba'al.
Yeh?ezqel (Ezekiel) 39:7 And I shall make My set-apart Name known in the midst of My people Yisra’el, and not let My set-apart Name be profaned any more. And the gentiles shall know that I am YAHUAH, the Set-apart One in Yisra’el.
We are commanded to fear His Most Set-Apart Name:
Tehillim (Psalms) 86:11 Teach me Your way, O YAHUAH; Let me walk in Your truth; Unite my heart to fear Your Name.
Tehillim (Psalms) 102:15 And the nations shall fear the Name of YAHUAH, And all the sovereigns of the earth Your esteem,
Mal'aki (Malachi) 2:5 My covenant with him was life and peace, and I gave them to him, to fear. And he feared Me, and stood in awe of My Name.
Debarim (Deuteronomy) 28:58-59 If you do not guard to do all the Words of this Torah that are written in this book, to fear this esteemed and awesome Name, YAHUAH your Elohim, (59) then YAHUAH shall bring upon you and your descendants extraordinary plagues, great and lasting plagues, and grievous and lasting sicknesses.
We are commanded to call upon His Name:
1 Chronicles 16:8 Give thanks to YAHUAH, call upon His Name, Make known His deeds among the peoples!
Tehillim (Psalms) 99:6 Moshah and Aharon were among His priests, And Shemu’el was among those calling upon His Name. They called upon YAHUAH, and He answered them.
Tehillim (Psalms) 116:13 I lift up the cup of deliverance, And call upon the Name of YAHUAH.
Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 12:4 And in that day you shall say, “Praise YAHUAH, call upon His Name; make known His deeds among the peoples, make mention that His Name is exalted.
We are commanded to praise His Name:
Tehillim (Psalms) 7:17 I give thanks to YAHUAH according to His righteousness, And praise the Name of YAHUAH Most High.
Tehillim (Psalms) 66:2 Sing out the splendour of His Name; Make His praise esteemed.
Tehillim (Psalms) 68:4 Sing to Elohim, sing praises to His Name. Raise up a highway for Him Who rides through the deserts, By His Name YAH, And exult before Him.
We are commanded to bless His Name:
Tehillim (Psalms) 100:4 Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him; bless His Name.
Tehillim (Psalms) 72:19 And blessed be His esteemed Name forever! And let all the earth Be filled with His esteem. Amen and Amen.
Tehillim (Psalms) 103:1 Bless YAHUAH, O my being, And all that is within me, Bless His set-apart Name!
We are commanded to set apart His Name:
1 Chronicles 23:13 The sons of Amram: Aharon and Moshah. And Aharon was set apart, he and his sons forever, that he should set apart the most set-apart, to burn incense before YAHUAH, to serve Him, and to give the blessing in His Name forever.
Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 29:23 For when he sees his children, the work of My hands, in his midst, they shall set apart My Name, and set apart the Set-apart One of Ya?aqob_, and fear the Elohim of Yisra’el.
Yeh?ezqel (Ezekiel) 36:23 "And I shall set apart My great Name, which has been profaned among the gentiles, which you have profaned in their midst. And the gentiles shall know that I am YAHUAH," declares the Master YAHUAH, "when I am set-apart in you before their eyes."
Finally, those whom He has chosen to know His Most Set-Apart Name shall be saved:
Tehillim (Psalms) 91:14 Because he cleaves to Me in love, Therefore I deliver him; I set him on high, Because he has known My Name.
Yeshayahu (Isaiah) 52:6 Therefore My people shall know My Name, in that day, for I am the One who is speaking. See, it is I.

Exodus 3:15 "The Mighty One also said to Moses "say to the Yasarelites, ' YaHuWaH, the Mighty One one of your fathers-the Mighty One of Abraham, the Mighty One of Yasaac and the Mighty one of Yaacob=has sent me to you'. This is my name forever, the name I am to be remembered from generation to generation."
Deuteronomy 5:11 "You shall not misuse the name of YaHuWaH your Mighty One, for YaHuWaH will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses His name"
Malachi 2:2 "If you do not listen, and if you do not set your heart to honor my name", says YaHuWaH Almighty, "I will send a curse upon you. And I will curse your blessings. Yes, I have already cursed them, because you have not set your heart to honor me"
Isaiah 52:5,6 "And now what do I have here?" declares YaHuWaH. "For my people have been taken away for nothing, and those who rule them mock," declares YaHuWaH. "And all day long my name is blasphemed, therefore my people will know my name, therefore in that day they will know that it is I who foretold it. Yes, it is I"
Jeremiah 16:21 "Therefore, behold, I will cause them to know,
this once will I cause them to know
my hand and my might;
and they shall know
that my name is YaHuWaH."

which hath been profaned among the nations,
which ye have profaned in the midst of them;
and the nations shall know that I am YaHuWaH."

O YaHuWaH, And that a foolish people
hath blasphemed thy name."
Psalm 74:10 "How long, O Mighty One,
will you allow our enemies to mock you?
Will you let them dishonor your name forever?"
Matthew 6:9 "Our Father in the heavens,
let your name be sanctified."
John 17:25 "O righteous Father,
even though the world does not know you,
I know you, and these know that you have sent me.
I made known to them YOUR NAME"
Psalm 145:2,3 "I will praise thy name for ever and ever..
Great is YaHuWaH, and greatly to be praised;
And his greatness is unsearchable."
Psalm 83:18 "That men may know that thou, whose name alone is YaHuWaH, art the Most High over all the earth."
Joel 2:32 "those who call upon the name of YaHuWaH shall be saved"
Peter quotes Joel in Acts 2:21 "those who call upon the name YaHuWaH shall be saved"
Paul quotes Joel in Romans 10:13 "those who call upon YaHuWaH shall be saved"
WHY IN ALL OF THESE VERSES DOES IT NEVER ONCE SAY "NAMES"!!!
IT ALWAYS SAYS NAME.....SINGULAR!!!!
"the LORD" has replaced the name YaHuWaH over 7000 times in our "modern" bible at the hand of man and his "Tradition" of dishonoring His NAME YaHuWaH (YHWH)
"You shall not misuse the name of YaHuWaH your Mighty One, for YaHuWaH will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses His name"
But for me and my house....we will serve YaHuWaH!!!!!
"the LORD" is a title.
YaHuWaH (YHWH) is His name!
SO.......will you honor His NAME and be found guiltLESS or will you continue to misuse His name and NOT BE FOUND "GUILTLESS"?

The ways of the Gentiles(Nations)
_Jer 10:2 Thus
said YaHuWaH, “Do not learn the way of the gentiles, and do not be awed
by the signs of the heavens, for the gentiles are awed by them.
Lev 18:3 ‘Do not do as they do in the land of Mitsrayim, where you dwelt. And do not do as they do in the land of Kena’an, where I am bringing you, and do not walk in their laws.
Deu 12:29 “When YaHuWaH your Elohim does cut off from before you the nations which you go to dispossess, and you dispossess them and dwell in their land,
Deu 12:30 guard yourself that you are not ensnared to follow them, after they are destroyed from before you, and that you do not inquire about their mighty ones, saying, ‘How did these nations serve their mighty ones? And let me do so too.
Deu 12:31 “Do not do so to YaHuWaH your Elohim, for every abomination which YaHuWaH hates they have done to their mighty ones, for they even burn their sons and daughters in the fire to their mighty ones.
Deu 18:9 “When you come into the land which YaHuWaH your Elohim is giving you, do not learn to do according to the abominations of those gentiles.
Eze 20:32 “And what comes up in your spirit shall never be, when you say, ‘Let us be like the gentiles, like the tribes in other lands, serving wood and stone.’
Eph 4:17 So this I say, and witness in the Master, that you should no longer walk as the gentiles walk,1 in the futility of their mind,
